Juneteenth “For the Culture” Panel Discussion

Sponsored by Prince Georges County African American Museum and cultural Center, the panel will take place following a musical performance from In Series, based on a play called 'From U Street to the Cotton Club'. It looks at the once thriving music U Street DC and Harlem NY.

The panel will cover a range of topics: Harlem renaissance in relation to the times we are in now, the importance of Black holidays and maintaining and creating Black traditions, gentrification + claiming space, in addition to crowd sourcing community solutions.
